FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–NASHVILLE, TN (Feb. 14th, 2026)– Nashville-based contemporary country artist Hunter Jordan is celebrating two streaming milestones with his debut release of the year, “YOU UP?.” Unveiled on January 23rd, the late-night text-inspired track surpassed 100K+ Spotify streams by February 4th, just under two weeks after the song’s release. Maintaining a steady uprise, “YOU UP?” surpassed 200K+ Spotify streams this Valentine’s Day. Speaking about the song’s wide reception amongst his fans, Hunter shares,

“I’m so grateful for my fans, because this has been my fastest-growing single I’ve ever had. It hit 200,000 streams very, very quickly, and it just continues to rise. So I’m super excited for what ‘YOU UP?’ has already done and what we hope it does in the future.” He adds, “I think with the way everything is trending, it’s safe to say that the ‘Street Cowboy’ is here to stay for a very long time.”

Produced by Simon Reid (ABC Family’s 10 Things I Hate About You, Emily Ann Roberts) and co-written by Michael August, Jake Arthur, Jeff Power, and Hunter himself, the hip-hop & rap-infused country tune brings the heat as the southern artist sings of a late-night encounter with an irresistible flame. Speaking about the song, Hunter shares,

“‘YOU UP?’ was written on our first inaugural ‘Frisco Disco’ group trip.” He continues, “Jake, Jeff, Michael and myself have been writing together for quite some time; we knew we had something special with it. It just fit my vibe.” He adds, “There are songs that are perfect for Valentine’s Day for those who found love and are in that perfect relationship, and then there are songs for those who haven’t yet – The latter is the kind of song “YOU UP?” is. I hope the song brings some comfort to those who are still searching for the one around the holiday.”

The continued success around “YOU UP?” comes shortly after Hunter wrapped up his Gulf Coast Tour, having performed multiple shows across Alabama’s sunny shores– including being a featured performing artist in the Gravel Road Music Group Showcase at The Alabama Gulf Coast Music Hall in Foley, AL. The successful tour followed up two career achievements with his single, “HOODIE.” Co-written by David Madras, Jake Arthur, and Hunter himself, the hoodie-thief breakup tune surpassed 100K+ streams on Spotify in less than two weeks post-release. “HOODIE” was also named a Top 10 Finalist in the 26th Annual NSAI Song Contest, alongside the song’s co-writer, Jake Arthur. With more music on the way and additional 2026 tour dates already announced, the year is already off to an exhilarating start for country music’s “Street Cowboy.”
