FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–NASHVILLE, TN (Nov 14th, 2025)–Today, rising contemporary country artist Hunter Jordan released his duck hunter’s anthem just in time for hunting season, “Drake.” Speaking about the song, Hunter shares,

“‘Drake’ is a song that I first heard performed. My buddy Drew Toler played it. I remember hearing it for the first time, and I thought it was special.” He continues, “We did collaborate on rewriting parts of it to get it dialled into what we thought was perfect on a song, which he had previously written years ago. It was cool to bring a second wind to the song and a new life to it.”

Produced by Simon Reid (ABC Family’s 10 Things I Hate About You, Emily Ann Roberts), originally written by Drew Toler, and rewritten by Toler & Hunter himself, the heartfelt tune pays tribute to those once-in-a-lifetime dogs we can count on out in the field, as we navigate a breakup and journey through life. Hunter shares,

“Having a good dog goes hand-in-hand with country music.” Adding, “I hope it can be the duck hunter’s anthem, especially for those that have a dog they can’t do without.”

“Drake” also follows the release of Hunter’s collaborative debut 5-track EP, HOMETOWN HEROES: VOL 1, which has been available on all major streaming platforms since October 31st. With 4.1 M+ digital streams in his career discography and the promise to deliver more music before the end of the year, Hunter Jordan continues to prove to be an artist to watch.

ABOUT HUNTER JORDAN

Known as the “Street Cowboy of Country,” Hunter Jordan describes himself as a country boy who is a little rough around the edges. Hunter’s sound reflects his diverse influences, blending the soul of country music with the rebellious spirit of rock and the rhythm of hip-hop. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Hunter recently released his collaborative debut EP, HOMETOWN HEROES: Vol. 1, which is available on all major streaming platforms. From Morgan Wallen’s modern to George Strait’s traditional sounds and from Hardy rock to Jordan Davis’ pop vibes, Hunter has a range of vocal and songwriting abilities which shine through in his music.

With compelling storytelling, heartfelt melodies, and an authentic country sound, Hunter Jordan’s latest project stands out as a fresh voice in today’s music scene. His “Street Cowboy” identity blends country, rock, and hip-hop influences, creating a unique style that resonates with fans of all three genres. Beyond the music, Hunter’s commitment to sharing his vulnerability through songwriting reflects a deeper mission: to connect with listeners who, like him, may struggle to express their emotions verbally. He aims to inspire others to open up and find comfort in music as a form of self-expression and connection in an increasingly disconnected world.

Hunter Jordan makes music because he loves it. For him, music is more than just a career; it’s a genuine expression of his passion and creativity. Hunter’s long-term goal is to build a music career that allows him to provide for his future wife and family, not just financially, but with the kind of fulfilment that comes from living out his dreams.
