A ‘ray of sunshine’ best describes Canadian pop-country singer/songwriter, Paige Rutledge.

For those who are unfamiliar with Rutledge and her artistry, she has received widespread support for her music from Canadian country radio and editorial playlists across Amazon Music, Spotify and Apple Music. As a songwriter, she’s written hundreds of songs, including co-penning tracks with fellow country artists across Canada. As a performer, she has played countless shows across her hometown province of Ontario and has previously opened for notable Canadian country acts such as the million-streaming band, River Town Saints.

Last Fall, she released her pop-country ballad, “The Worst Thing,” which is currently in rotation on SiriusXM’s Top of The Country Radio. Ahead of her forthcoming debut EP, she released her latest summery breakup track, “Used To This”. She shares,

I wrote this one with Jack Book, Deegan Reeves and Joe Tounge. I went into the co-write with the idea of writing an empowering song for the girlies- I asked myself, ‘What do the girlies want to scream in the car right now?’. The song wrote itself pretty quickly.(Rutledge).

“Used To This” is also the unofficial sister song to “Ain’t That Bad”, as they both were written at the same time and cover similar topics that lean into one another.
